SSC and SHB

Unread post by balston11 » Mon Mar 06, 2017 10:57 pm

Just added the SSC to rare and unusual Yamahas would be interested if anyone has any info about whether or not these and the SHB (also on the pages) was just made for the US market. Link to SSC

i keep seeing these for sale on reverb, ebay etc so they don't seem rare to me. they usually sell for around $300.

I usually watch Ebay UK carefully and have never seen one on Ebay perhaps you are helping the theory that they were intended for the USA only

Both the SSC and SHB look a bit plain to me, so I'm not going to pull the trigger to own any of them.

That being said, if I should stumble over any of them, I'll gladly try them out, and if the sound and feel is right, become an owner.

 I haven't seen many around, but let's throw links when they appear.

Peter

I prefer the sc1200. The ssc has a weird body shape and the headstock doesn't go with the rest of it. Also it's a set neck vs sc1200's through

If that was at that price in the UK I would be very tempted. Nice guitar.
