Some DX-7 and Moog presets in SySex format.

The Yamaha SY99 is a synthesiser combining frequency modulation synthesis (branded as Advanced FM) and sample-based synthesis (branded as Advanced Wave Memory 2) and the direct successor to Yamaha's SY77/TG77

Some DX-7 and Moog presets in SySex format.

Unread post by yamahadrums » Mon Dec 07, 2009 4:47 pm

Hi, everybody! As you remember I sent to the admins some SY-99 patches converted by me in SySex format few months ago. Unfortunately my floppy drive failed and I need the Moog patches and the DX-7's typical lead, which we can hear in many of the Steve Winwood's songs. Could anyone be so kind to convert them into SySex and send them to me or upload here? The MInimoog banks can be found here: http://home.tiscali.nl/renemo/ Glides and Lead And Bass. Thank you in advance.
I am considering purchasing this floppy, cause it is direct driven and there is no belt inside: http://www.floppydrivesolutions.com/sy77.html Does anyone have any information about it?
Oh, I almost forgot. My mail is: barbutovd_at_mail.orbitel.bg

If it was an SY77 I could help, but I don't (yet) have an SY99. Hopefully somebody else will be able to help.

Thank you anyway, Derek! It seems like extracting SySex file is very difficult. Anyway, I'll wait for my new floppy.

I could have easily done it for an SY77 with sy.factory, but not for an SY99
