Thanks for pointing out. I must have forgotten to commit the upload I did.

Re: Montage M generic / class compliant midi issue

Hi. I am running 2.10.1 and tried both driver modes tonight using Cantabile on Windows 11, viewing the Montage output in Cantabile's built in MIDI monitor. I did not see dual events in either mode What I did notice is that I ended up with a different set of MIDI ports in generic mode and I had to sw...

Re: Montage M Scence Switch per Midi

Hi, First, on the Montage (I assume Montage ESP is the same), have a look in Utility / Settings / MIDI IO and the Scene CC value. Mine is set to CC 92, but I cannot remember if that is the default, which is why it is best to check). In Cubase on your Montage track, open the list editor and look for ...

Re: incompatible with a future version of macOS

Hi, No matter what triggered the message, and assuming your existing system is running fine, I would point out that it is wise never to be a bleeding edge adopter of new OS version when it comes out precisely for this reason. When a new OS is in the final throws of release, you will find that most m...

Re: Montage M transfer data to PC

Montage M will sync with ESP with the limitations already mentioned. Is it really a limitation? Not if the Performances are 8 parts or less anyway, given that Montage also has a limitation that you need to be 8 or less parts if you are using smooth sound switching. You will find that for performance...

Re: Sending program change from IPAD to Montage M.

I am afraid I cannot comment on iPad as I do not use it live, nor OnSong as I haven't even heard of it. I can confirm the decimal codes I provided are correct, so it must be something in the devices and how they are setup

Re: Sending program change from IPAD to Montage M.

Hi, Not sure about the ipad side, but that 66.0.0 will be selecting the first performance in Performance User Bank 1. You can see this in the table on Page 216 where you see 66 in the MSB column - look across and you can see 66.0 is Performance User Bank 1. But I think, you are asking about selectin...

Re: Band Recommendation - Kalandra

Here is a case in point about too much cymbal. I love the Swedish band Moon Safari, certainly the first few albums (the later ones are a bit too bland AOR for my taste). Take a listen to this track from their first album. It is such an amazing, uplifting song using the Apollo 8 Christmas message (w...

Re: Band Recommendation - Kalandra

Over the past week, I have been listening to a Norwegian Band called Kalandra , who have released three albums so far. All are superb in my view. I had a really good listen to them in the car tonight, travelling back home from a business trip. Great find Derek! Really liked what I heard. It sounds ...

Indeed it can :)

You can also do a manual dump to anything capable of receiving SYSEX, but I am biased towards an.factory achieving world domination! :)

Re: Band Recommendation - Kalandra

Great discovery, I think, and interesting how we both came to them! I agree about use of cymbals - much prefer drummers who are subtle on the cymbals like Mick Fleetwood. Probably no surprise, my purchases and followings on bandcamp have all been mostly Nordic and Germanic. There is one song by Eiv...

Re: Band Recommendation - Kalandra

I meant to reply last night, after I'd listened to these. Oddly I did think of Fleetwood Mac while listening, but I was enjoying them very much as I was doing whatever-it-was and totally forgot to say thanks. Nice find. Always good to share discoveries :) I have not heard Fleetwood Mac in there, bu...

Hi. Sorry this never got a reply. I never noticed it.

The AN1x has no preset bank, just its bank of 128 programs - which initially come loaded with the factory sounds
