EX5 utility?

Unread post by EXer »

I remember at the time where the old EX5Tech website was up there was a utility program or application which analysed a .s1v file and which generated a file (text? word? excel? pdf?) which contained a list of the voices and for each voice a list of the waves and of the controller sets used by that voice.

Does someone remember that utility? Is it still available somewhere?

Thanks.

Hi.

Have you looked on EX5Tech.co.uk? I think Ski did something along those lines

Or my ex.factory librarian will also export data lists. Can’t remember if it lists Waves (it’s been a long time!) but that could be added if needed.

Hi Derek,

I haven't seen it on the new EX5Tech, but I just found it on the HD of my old PC!

It's an Excel 2000 file called EXcel_S1V.xls. It was made by Ski. It includes macros which open .s1v files and which create an .xls file containing the voice information.
